Our Bourbon Vanilla

Khoisan Gourmet embraces the notion of creating superb products that are quite literally ‘labours of love’ - like our Madagascan and Ugandan vanilla beans, which we think of as ‘African Gold’.

We work with small to medium sized farmers who hand pollinate each and every vanilla flower and work tirelessly over many months to produce their tiny batches of magnificent, sun-dried black vanilla beans. Only the very best, most plump and juicy vanilla beans make their way across the Indian Ocean to us where they are incorporated into a variety of richly infused, sweet and aromatic products.

Borne of time, traditional farming methods and a deep respect for natural processes, our Vanilla products embrace the Khoisan Gourmet ethos of working with the earth’s riches and producers respectfully.
